New Appointments Strengthen Sovex
Prenton based Sovex, the leading conveyor manufacturer, has appointed Steve Nuttall as its new Sales Director. He is now responsible for generating new business, leading the sales team, and managing key customer accounts. Steve will also handle the company’s marketing and run the new Sovex Midlands office, which opens in a few months.
Married with two children and a keen golfer, Steve spent over fifteen years in his previous role as Sales Manager for a major Sovex competitor. During this time, he built an impressive sales record, worked on a wide range of products and applications, and acquired a wealth of technical knowledge. Steve hopes this experience will stand him in good stead at Sovex.
One month into his new role, Steve is relishing the challenge. He commented; “This is an enormous opportunity for me. Sovex is a vibrant, rapidly expanding company and offers an excellent range of conveyors and storage systems. I aim to drive domestic and international product sales, and increase Sovex’s brand awareness. I have a supportive team behind me and look forward to the future.”
Sovex is currently enjoying a period of unprecedented growth and is expanding its team to meet increasing customer demands. In addition to Steve Nuttall, the company has taken on Mark Hammond as Engineering Manager.
David Lindfield, Sovex’s Managing Director, is delighted; “Business is booming at Sovex and our factory is working flat out, which is great news. I am delighted to welcome Steve, Mark and Sean to our company and wish them every success in their new roles. It has been an incredible year for Sovex so far, and this is down to the hard work put in by its staff. These new additions strengthen the team as the company moves forward in 2008.”
