To ensure optimum operation throughout the life of all modules, we recommend regular servicing. SOVEX Service Connect is our fully comprehensive service package which can be tailored on a client-to-client basis dependant on usage, throughput and maintenance habits.

Through a nationwide network of experienced engineers and team of technical advisors available by phone 24/7; we guarantee a response time of under 4 hrs, a 2 hrs response time is also available.

Engineers carry spare parts to repair equipment on the spot, fixing 95% of reported breakdowns on the first visit. We also stock vast spares supplies at strategically located sites across the country facilitating faster repair times for more complicated jobs and less disruption to your business.

  • If you have a problem, simply call our help desk and one of our friendly advisors will record the details of your fault and immediately schedule a Sovex engineer to visit your site and resolve the issue.
  • You can also log the query online through our efficient customer service area.

You will have access to your company’s complete service history, detailing when services or repairs were reported, when a Sovex engineer was on site, name of the engineer, details of work done and any costs involved. You can also register new breakdowns or servicing requests through your login area – it couldn’t be easier.
  • You don’t have to leave your office or make several calls to see up to date progress, we keep you updated all of the time. Our website is run in real time so you can view the status of your call within minutes of registering a problem. An email notification of your job will be with our engineering team within seconds of being logged.

Ad Hoc Repairs

Our fully accredited electromechanical engineers can repair any faulty Vehicle Loaders or Transport Conveyor modules regardless of whether they were manufactured by SOVEX or another OEM. We carry on average £4,000 of parts with each mobile service engineer, with further stock at Head Office.  This enables us to quickly and cost effectively ensure your equipment breakdown is back up and running as soon as possible.

Pre-Peak Inspections

We offer free on-site inspections of your existing materials handling equipment, providing a full report detailing its condition, a review of health and safety as well as recommendations for any repairs or maintenance required. Our aim is to ensure that your equipment is kept in perfect working condition regardless of who supplied it.

Belting

As part of mobile kit, SOVEX engineers can realign any tracking issues to minimise wear and tear on the belt and perform repairs if the belt requires stitching or vulcanizing. Alternatively engineers can even fit a new belt if required.

PLC Programming

SOVEX trained engineers are competent in the programming, installation and resolution of issues with PLCs associated with materials handling equipment.

Residency

SOVEX passes reduced prices of spare parts onto clients thanks to the decreased cost of transportation and packaging we incur if the parts are bundled along with your Vehicle loader or Transport Conveyor.
