The successful alliance between Everton in the Community (EitC) and Sovex continues to bear fruit for both prominent North West entities in 2015. The leading UK conveyor manufacturer has partnered with EitC and their ‘Everton Traineeship Consortium’ since its inception 2 years ago.
The collaboration has thus far already yielded 3 work placements for trainees within departments of the fast growing business. One of which – David Brear completed his placement this week, is now employed permanently in the Purchasing and Procurement department of Sovex and also mentors one of the current trainees; “Without Everton Traineeship, this wouldn’t have been possible, so I highly recommend the initiative as it is mutually beneficial to all parties and, from a personal level, is really rewarding.”
To commemorate the partnership and successful collaboration, Sovex were presented with the 2014/15 jersey from the Club’s charity initiative. Soxex’s HR Manager, Jan Bennett said of the memorabilia’s fate: “The signed shirt will be heading over to our factory in Malaysia, which contains a number of big Everton fans. There may be a bit of a struggle to see whose wall it ends up on though!”
Both companies renowned for their work in their respective fields are building upon strong International reputations among partners and clients across a range of industries.
